Our Berries

I drew out the basic plan for our berry boxes. Some of the berries will be moved based on height and sun exposure, but the basic idea will be the same. Our current chosen location for the berries is inside that wooden fenced semi-circle. 

Waiting on our house closing and buying plants for the spring

So, apparently, this is what the lawyer for the seller has been doing instead of what he's paid for. Since we were supposed to close on the house and our lawyer assures us he requested the necessary documents from the other guy (or girl I really don't know) weeks in advance. It took Valerie calling around and making a fuss for him to finally send the paperwork, but the closing is likely going to be delayed. Hopefully we'll still get in this week. On other news, here's the list of some of the seeds/berries we've ordered for our garden this spring. From the Starkbros.com nursery, we ordered this collection of berries, and we're pretty excited. We've got a few places around the house which would be perfect for these. Where We Come From Valerie and I met over a decade ago; while going to school at UVU in Orem, Utah. She was a ballroom dance major, and I took some dance classes and competed ballroom dance on a local level as a way to relax from my pre-med classes. I was seven and a half years older than her and so I didn't think much of it when we first met, since she was just out of high school. But, over time, we got to know each other better and, after two and a half years, we got married.  Since that point she's followed me across the country and back again a couple of times, as we've moved from Utah to southern California, back to Utah, then Michigan, then northern California, then off to Vermont. During that time we've been blessed to have three kids, all born in different states, and made a lot of good friends and good memories.
